"VIETNAMESE CHICKEN IN TOMATO SAUCE"
Ingredients:
1 1/4 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into strips
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup Spanish-style tomato sauce
2 green onions, white and green parts included, cut into 1-inch pieces
1/2 cup water
1 1/2 tablespoons fish sauce
1 can (8 ounces) bamboo shoots, drained, rinsed
2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds, crushed
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
Preparation:
